Mrs. Amy Russell
PRINCIPAL
The 2025-26 school year marks Mrs. Russell's eighteenth year in education. She completed three years as principal of Travis Elementary. Before going to Travis, she served four years as the Instructional Services Director at both Bonham Middle School and Ector Middle School. Prior to her time on the middle school campuses, she served as a Campus Curriculum Facilitator and taught fourth grade at Dowling Elementary. She is a also a product of ECISD schools.
El año escolar 2026-26 marca el decimosexta año de educación de la Sra. Russell. Completó tres años como directora de la escuela primaria Travis. Antes de ir a Travis, se desempeñó durante cuatro años como Directora de Servicios de Instrucción tanto en la Escuela Intermedia Bonham como en la Escuela Intermedia Ector. Antes de su tiempo en los campus de la escuela intermedia, se desempeñó como facilitadora del plan de estudios del campus y enseñó cuarto grado en la escuela primaria Dowling. Ella también es un producto de las escuelas de ECISD.

Mrs. Mary Gorman
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Mrs. Gorman graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and received her teacher certification through the fast-track program at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She also holds a master's degree in psychology with a specialization in crisis and trauma counseling. Mrs. Gorman moved to Bowie Middle School as an instructional specialist and is now an assistant principal. She's so proud to be Horned Frog!!!!
La Sra. Gorman se graduó de LIberty University en Lynchburg, Virginia, con una licenciatura en psicología y recibió su certificación de maestra a través del programa de vía rápida en la Universidad de Texas de Permian Basin. También tiene una maestría en psicología con especialización en consejería de crisis y trauma. La Sra. Gorman se mudó a Bowie Middle School como especialista en instrucción y ahora es subdirectora. ¡¡¡¡Ella está muy orgullosa de ser Horned Frog!!!!

Mrs. Whitney Carter
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Mrs. Carter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art. She has completed her Master’s in Educational Leadership. She has been at Bowie Middle School as an educator for three years and was dean of students for a year before moving into the position of Assistant Principal. A product of ECISD herself, she wants to promote academic success and the well-being of each student and give them the best opportunity to reach their goals.
La Sra. Carter se graduó con una licenciatura en Arte. Está terminando su Maestría en Liderazgo Educativo. Ha estado en la escuela secundaria Boie como educadora durante tres años y asumió el cargo de Decana de Cultura y Estudiantes. Como producto de ECISD, quiere promover el éxito académico y el bienestar de cada estudiante y brindarles la mejor oportunidad para alcanzar sus metas.
